And I liked this statement: "Republicans aren't going to win the presidency."

actually stated Trump's personality disorder and narcissism right out, known to him for many years. So refreshing. None of this despicable "wrong temperament" weaseling of the MSM.

Okay! Joe's saying, "This is not the Donald Trump I've known for a decade, I've never seen anything remotely resembling this, ... it's unhinged." Meanwhile Trudeau's come out with a book of 30 years of Trump cartoons which demonstrate how profoundly he has not changed, same words, everything.

Dissociate, Joe, quick! Save yourself! Everyone, sauve qui peut!

I'd dynamite their escape routes if I could.

10. I've been wondering all along if the stresses

of the campaign might exacerbate his problem, which was completely obvious all along. These people are exaggerating how much worse he is, though, for their own CYA. Being diverted from business to attack a fire marshal he felt dissed him at a rally is quintessential Trump.

This is unraveling too fast for me. I want a bunch of political experts to tell me 3 months is far too little time for them to try to elect Mike Pence president. I'm afraid it's not. This is the communication age and we never, ever needed 2-year electoral seasons.

for him yesterday--saw clip of it. Then she--the mom got really booed by the audience--Trump supporters!! Anyway--I wonder if Pence may threaten to jump ship?? He is not about to calm the monster waters created by Trump. Just a thought (I do not know much about Pence).

And, yes--if people have emotional problems--they tend to exacerbate them when under stress.

I think today may be a tipping point--either him camp shuts Trump down for awhile or all hell is going to break lose

chant "lock her up, lock her up,..." at every single rally and that their attitude is very much us versus them, that anyone who opposes him is an enemy. So perhaps I should stop worrying that there'd still be time to elect Pence president. It seems like his supporters would be unlikely to take Trump stepping down well, regardless of the excuses given.

As for Pence, though, he abandoned his reelection race for governor of Indiana, which he could well have lost. He was in trouble. Business and much of the public turned against him because he ran as more moderate and then tried to impose his real hard-right socioreligious views on the state.

Pence said he was waiting for a call to decide what to do, and apparently he decided God was calling him to run for vice president to a man incapable of functioning as president. Popular Democrat Evan Bayh just entering the race for senate, possibly tipping the dynamics in Indiana farther against him, might have been interpreted as more word from above also.

Pence may be deluding himself Romney-style that God wants him in the White House, but he otherwise entered the race eyes open, knowing that'd require kissing ass to a dysfunctional buffoon and that losing would be career suicide. And now he has nowhere else to go in politics.

8. Actually, the most interesting segment by far was Donnie Deusch
Tue Aug 2, 2016, 08:29 AM

Trump is no different now than he has been all along, he was a raging meglomaniac before he ran, he just now has every camera in the country on him 24/7.

The most interesting segment was Donnie Deusch, who knows Trump personally, and comes from Trump's world.

I agree with this, btw.

Deusch said that, assuming Trump loses, he will start the "Trump Channel." Spend very little money, basically just get a few cameras and just start doing videos. Make a LOT of money charging a lot of the dolts (my word there)he has brought to him during the election a few bucks a month.

BUT ALSO basically start his own party.

NOW, he didn't go past stating that, but I agree this is VERY possible. And, I think you could absolutely see him take the tea party from the republican's and actually create a viable "populist" party.

9. There's nothing like having a madman as possible captain of the ship of state.

What could go wrong? The most powerful nation in the world ruled by a deranged narcissist dictator...

Yet we hear some people defending him because he advocates "change." He is lauded as someone who will "shake things up" or "bring down the establishment."

Change for the sake of change is not an "ideal." Some changes are "game ending" and make further change impossible. Anarchy is not an option for rational people.

I prefer Hillary's pitch to do all the good you can do. I don't think electing a madman president is a good thing to do.
