3. Why does anybody?

Because it's easy to be an asshole.

And our society often values women for their bodies and men for their wealth/power. So he's kept up his end of that bargain in theory as he's got a lot of money. But mostly just because he's an asshole.

He assesses their worth according to how attractive they are to him--or even more accurately, how attracted they pretend to be toward him.

This guy here notes that even though he served as a lawyer for Trump for years, the only near-substantive conversation they ever had was about which women "wanted" the married Donald Trump.
