Could Trumps sparring with the Khans have the effect Katie Couric had with Palin?

I'm dumbstruck by Trump's continued sparring with the Khan family. He's digging a deep hole and continues to digging. And the Khans are not backing down, with Ghazala answering him in a WaPo op-ed today.

I think the pollsters may have to conduct a new series of surveys, pre-Khan incident and post-Khan.

I expect a "Khan effect" greater than Katie Couric's '08 deflation of Sarah Palin's balloon. I'm in awe of these people. They have thick skin and incredible tolerance. And they may bring this jackass down harder than any of the tepid GOP field ever could.

Should he continue to be obsessed with these true patriots, it will become much harder for some to support him. SOME!

Others see this as Trumph being true to he's hate of Muslims because they too join him in hate.

attracting a subset of Americans who believe as he does. What I hope is that the reasonable Rethugs, and yes there are plenty (hubs is one) who were fence sitting move to Hillary because of this.

when she was being criticized. I never thought I'd see a political candidate less temperamentally or intellectually qualified than Palin to run for any public office, but Trump makes her look like Winston Fucking Churchill.

is just too thin-skinned and narcissistic to be president. It's the same deal with Clinton's "can bait Trump with a tweet" line. That was the one most quoted because it resonated with people.

Trump: Muslims are the enemy and can't be trusted.

Dems: Muslims are American too and have served and died protecting America.

Trump: No, they're not!

Dude's campaign is built on prejudice and bigotry and he just won't back down from it.

It was on the internet.

There's something going on here.

His reaction to the DNC, and especially the Khans, is proving her point at the worst time for his campaign.
