Chris Matthews said he judges the success of a convention by the balloon drop....

He said Republicans always have all of their balloons release and Democrats can never get it done.

This is why I say he represents everything that is wrong with the Beltway.

To him, it's all theater.

Balloon drops and carrier landings.

It's all theater to Trump too. That's why he'd be such a disaster as president. Someone who makes decisions for show with no regard to the consequences cannot be allowed within 100 miles of the nuclear codes.

that part of why Trump has been a success is because "Make America Great Again" is such a perfect slogan. He thinks it "strikes a chord" in every American, or some such crap...
