I thought for sure we would win with Kerry.

In my opinion he was the most qualified and 'ready to go on day one' presidential candidate that we'd ever run and it seemed (to me) at the time that Bush was incredibly beatable - how wrong I was.

in the last couple of elections. (Although when Obama actually won the general in 2008, people were pretty prolific...but among my friends it was kind of muted by prop 8 winning here in CA.)
