(3,072 posts)...that show mild annoyance among low level staffers at the DNC? There's your proof. Check and mate

(13,873 posts)There was a guy in my college dorm who would get in the stupidest discussions, and would end them by suddenly standing up and yelling "case closed"

(105 posts)And you're silly to think that the Democratic party would not do opposition research on a candidate who - until last year - wasn't a Democrat and could potentially run against a Democrat.

(34,857 posts)Basically, back in 2011, Tim Kaine, knowing one day Hillary would run for president against Bernie Sanders, stepped down so they could get DWS into the DNC solely for she could steal it - and to pay him back, Hillary gave him the VP nod FIVE YEARS LATER!
Forget for a second that Kaine stepped down to run for senate, a race he'd win, in what world does this even make sense? And who the fuck has the foresight to even plan something like that back in 2011?!?

(115,831 posts)He is not responsible for the asinine behavior of a small handful of former supporters. Those people can't be considered Sanders supporters any more because Sanders is supporting Clinton.

(1,630 posts)They are Bernie delegates and are ruining his legacy with their reckless actions. He has repeatedly begged them to stop but they don't care.

(5,057 posts)Are the ones in the green T Shirts desecrating the American flag. I think most folks around here really giving Bernie the benefit of the doubt. But you know who is tarring Bernie with that brush? The MSM. They are identifying all these lunatics as "Sanders Supporters." I don't agree - but I'm not on television - they are.

(24,396 posts)I doubt her had any idea what he was tapping into and what he was unleashing during his campaign. Certainly, his campaign managers had no idea or didn't care.
That's the thing with having followers: you own the crappy ones along with the great ones.

(259 posts)He encouraged the negative chants etc etc during rallies. He sure as heck didn't say anything to stop it.
If at any point, Sanders had stopped, looked out, and said "we don't boo when naming
our competitor, we're above that, we're both democrats" or anything else. It would have ended.

(5 posts)It's not uncommon to find "reverse" campaigners embedded in some compaigns. These are basically people who oppose the candidate/position but are there to disrupt. Based on the recent behavior of some Bernie or Bust delegates, it's possible these folks were "reverse" campaigners.

(1,242 posts)any of them have been planted in by the Republicans ? I think Trump called out Bernie 's name way to often ...... claimed he had Bernie protesters himself ... were they ? Looking back I am wondering also about the Chicago protests and other if there were plants in them from the republicans to get things going ........

(35,356 posts)When I hear commentators say: "Let them (Bernie supporters) vent, they worked hard and are upset." My reply: "FUCK THAT SHIT! I worked and supported Hillary in 2008! I wasn't a fucking BABY and throw a fit. I threw my support to Obama. I've waited EIGHT YEARS for this moment. KISS my entire ass Bernie bots! Thank you."

(15,373 posts)who have only been Democrats for a comparative five minutes. Never again.
Note: the closed primaries did require some people who were never Dems to register as Dems so that they could vote in those primaries. But they still cut down significantly on the last-minute crossovers and mischief-makers.
But some of those "latter-day" Dems used their Dem registration solely to become a fifth column and disrupt. They never had any intention of supporting a candidate other than their chosen one.

(894 posts)The need to get Trump out of contention in this election tops the Bernie/Hillary fight.
It's time to come together. Too many Americans need this for us to faff around with this.
Bernie did some good for the cause. To give this election to Dirty Donald would be a slap in the face.
