Let's just say Allen's speech was not my favorite, and I'm puzzled why anyone on DU would disagree with, "no more wars".

I really don't recognize this place most days.

I would have preferred he face the crowd on his own and not have all those folks on stage taking undeserved hits from the crowd.

My position on booing the Medal of Honor soldier is STFU. You honor those folks. To me, the booers deserve mandatory public service at Arlington. Visit the Tomb of the Unknown. The MoH winners have gone thru hell. The soldier on stage lived. What about . . . . ?

I would not boo John McCain discussing his military record. I would boo when he talks about the president "making us less safe" or any of that other BS he spews.
