Did you hear Boehner's Acceptance Speech

Ugh, yuck, blah!!

"But Boehner also said that by keeping Republicans in control of the House, voters made clear there is no mandate for raising taxes."

No, voters were given gerrymandered districts to keep Republicans in the House. Man, I really do not like that guy!

That is how bad the district was gerrymandered. How the hell is that democracy? Clear mandate my asshole.

Democrats ran on the idea of raising the taxes of the rich

And won

55 Senate seats,

an increase in house seats, and

the White House.

That's a mandate for raising the taxes of the rich if there ever was one.

Obama's win was clear. Compare that to Bush's barely squeaking a majority in the electoral college and probably not winning at all in 2000. If Bush's questionable "win" in 2000 was enough of a mandate to pass tax cuts, then Obama's overwhelming victory this year is enough to do away with those cuts -- at least for those who will do fine without them.

And the irresponsible Bush Tax cuts expire. On everybody.

If we're all so concerned about deficits and debt, a Clinton-era income tax level is part of the equation. I'm willing to pay more if Boehner would just STFU.
