Clinton camp has its eye on Omaha, 2nd District electoral vote

That is Congressman Ashford, and he is a former GOP DINO. He endorsed Hillary but is skipping the convention. Marta & I were gerrymandered out of that district. We did help Obama win that one electoral vote in 08.

Hillary Clinton is serious about winning Nebraska’s 2nd District.

Nebraska may not be a swing state overall — not even close — but the Omaha-based 2nd District definitely qualifies. Barack Obama won the district in 2008, the first time a Democrat had picked up a Nebraska electoral vote since 1964.

"We are campaigning in Nebraska for your congressional district," Marlon Marshall, a Clinton campaign official, told Nebraska delegates at their Monday breakfast. "We feel very strongly that we can win."

Nebraska and Maine are the two states that split their electoral votes by congressional district. Every other state awards electoral votes on a winner-take-all basis.
