Lots Of Excellent Speeches Being Given By Philly Locals et al
It's refreshing to be watching OUR convention on the live streaming feed (Direct TV Channel 347) which has no news anchor or pundit commentary. None. All that you see and hear is what is happening in the hall.
I am impressed with the message being delivered by many of the unknown local D politicians who have taken the stage to speak. No one is stumbling, no one is reading off a text they haven't taken to heart and no one is eqivocating. It's really impressive.
I'm assuming this isn't the coverage you're seeing on the networks, who feel it is their job to set us straight on what's actually happening, lest we believe our lying eyes and ears.
Podesta just finished giving an excellent rallying cry directed at the Sanders crowd. Very effective.
