apparently a small group that just sounded loud. and of course the press latches on to any drama (like many of us)

http://www.democraticunderground.com/12512302902

The center of this section is where the disruptive delegates were sitting. On television it probably sounded like the entire hall was interspersed with "booers" but in reality they were mostly grouped into a couple of small sections, the largest being behind and to the left of the stage. From where I was sitting it seemed like there were about 100 people doing the booing, which really wasn't that big of a deal by the end of the night when the hall was filled with 16,000 perfectly happy Democrats. However, in the early stages of the proceedings when the hall wasn't full they were able to make quite a bit of noise, and I assume that the media focused in on them a lot.

who were part of it. And if you look at the video posted in post #65 from ABC and fast forward to about the 6 second mark and you see the section where they were as they waved their signs in beat with their chant (and a tight shot of them appears at the 23 second mark). And the fucking scum yelled through the rest of his speech.

Skinner and EarlG are up in the nosebleed section so it would be hard to tell from that spot in that arena.

for this absurdity and embarrassment. Booing a speaker like this one, a civil rights icon, displays an appalling narcissism. Sure -- burn it all down -- then hide when Trump is elected, and among many other outcomes, nominates Supreme Court justices whose Trumpian views shift major decisions (abortion, gay marriage, etc -- do they even stop to think about these things?!) that impact the everyday lives of Americans for DECADES.

They will gleefully watch as those groups I mentioned get ground under the boot of a Trump presidency. They are driven by blind, incoherent, violent rage. They must be the most selfish people on earth.

I am obviously talking about the extremist thugs current destroying any sense of party unity at the Democratic National Convention. Bernie supporters who understand the stakes of this election and will vote accordingly are, and have always been, on my side.
