Trump: Warren's 'got a fresh mouth'
The only thing Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has going for her is “a fresh mouth,” Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Monday.
“You don’t have to go with Pocahontas,” said Trump, who has questioned Warren’s statements about her American Indian heritage. “She is the worst senator in the U.S. Senate. She’s got a fresh mouth,” he added. “Other than that, she’s got nothing going.”
Trump made the comments at a town hall in Roanoke, Virginia hours before Warren is set to address the Democratic convention.
He and Warren have repeatedly tangled over Twitter and in a series of addresses referencing one another. The latest insult is likely to give Warren new material when she addresses Democratic delegates Monday night a highly-anticipated speech in Philadelphia.
