Related: About this forumMan, they are ROLLING out Philadelphia.
The AME choir, the Philly commercial, Boyz II Men. Wonderful!
I miss home so much right now! I love London, but Philly has my heart forever.

(6,716 posts)I would be over there right now, but with the protestors and the heat, I'm going to be in for the night.

(4,311 posts)Unless I were a delegate inside, I just could not deal with the heat. I remember EXACTLY what that's like, especially with the humidity.
But I kind of have tears in my eyes watching. I love it here, but I miss home a lot, especially when it's a celebration of Philly, where I grew up and lived for most of my life.

(27,787 posts)visited family ... went back to the old neighborhood, saw the police arrest two armed men in a parked car 5 feet away (no shots fired, pheww) ... and even caught a Phillies game (lost in extra innings).
Great time!!

(4,311 posts)I used to get tickets for the Red Sox games every year. I like both teams (but would always root for the Phils!)

(27,787 posts)We had a great view of the game, and the Philly sky-line sits directly out over center field.
But sadly William Penn was not visible on top of city hall. I hated when they changed that law.
