I don't think he should ever do that. Nate Silvers' work was mathematics and science. It was non-partisan, and therefore, beyond reproach. Obama thanking him would taint that in the future. Leave it be so we at least know in 2 and 4 years where things really stand when he does such wonderful work again on US elections.

This was the worst year I can remember in the 27 years of voting that I have done where I have seen so much punditry and 'pollsters' rattling on about 'a virtual tie'. It was MSM propaganda, and frankly it disgusts me.
