(15,429 posts)Nobody.

(1,999 posts)Nor is Bill Clinton supporting privatization of Social Security. And as for shoveling money into the F-35? I'm not sure a Bernie supporter should want to go there.

Just because someone latched onto Sanders does not make them an ally, or a decent human being.

(15,429 posts)Every time the Democrats have lost starting in 1968, it has been the fault of the extreme left and the party had no choice but to move to the right.
EVERY TIME!
So don't tell me, I've watched the Extreme Left botch this shit up for too long!

(13,305 posts)Establishment politics and centrism can never fail. They can only be failed.
"The extreme left" (whatever the fuck that is) has not been a reliable Democratic constituency for at least 20 years now. If you think that people who didn't vote for the Democrat in any elections since the mid 90's are now the ones whose votes are going to cost us the election now then you really must have not been paying attention for the past few decades.

(13,305 posts)If they've not voted or supported the Democratic party sinc 19fucking68......on what planet were you expecting them to support it now? With what plan did you somehow think that you were going to win over people who by your own admission have never been a reliable constituency for the Democratic party?
Besides, wasn't it many Hillary advocates who said repeatedly over the past however many months that "they won't need Bernie supporters" or that the Bernie supporters were just Republican trolls trying to influence the Democratic primary, and that Hillary would "wipe the floor with Trump, no problem"?
Again.....can't be both ways. HRC supporters insisted that she was the best candidate, that she had the best chance to beat Trump, that she was the better GE campaigner, that she had the needed tools and infrastructure and support to beat trump.......so now prove it. Don't blame anyone else, get out there and prove that she was the better candidate rather than pre-emptively whining or placing blame on a group who you admit hasn't been a Democratic constituency for almost 50 damn years.

Also, it's gonna demonstrate that we are, on balance, a nation of assholes.

(1,078 posts)They would be doing it because the DNC pulled bullshit on them. I know the "they did it first" is kindergarten level nonsense. But you can't solely put the blame on dissenters if they have a legitimate reason to be pissed.

(68,606 posts)But those delegates are putting Bernie's revolution in serious jeopardy. No one will want to be a part of that...it will just go away like occupy...which is a darn shame.
