Great to see how quickly the DWS issue is being handled

Unlike Trump we have real pros working for us to put an issue to bed quickly.

DWS will not appear on stage at our convention, per MSNBC.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=2284001

As much as the Media wants a issue to talk about the removal of DWS from the stage is a great move to defuse a bad situation unlike how Trump handled his wife's speech screw up.

Also Bernie is not taking the bait

and I'll admit I was, was Jeff Weaver on AM Joy this morning. COMPLETELY supportive of the Democratic Party, saying we have to move on and support HRC. Coming from the SAME man who called her "evil", that was a very pleasant surprise.

The media is obviously committed to making a big story even bigger in order to emphasize the split in the Democratic Party. If you think about the coverage of this campaign overall, it's been solely to increase ratings on the "news" networks. Thus, we have Trump as the GOP nominee. Their next goal is to make Trump POTUS so they'll keep their ratings high as they cover the demise of the country.

If she had any honor and was a team player, she'd quit today, before the convention.

Otherwise, rather the C&K as running mates, debs will always be part of the story. I hope someone she respects (if she is capable of that) is whispering in her ear. And even more so, I hope she listens.

booed by rank and file Democrats. Especially since she is up for re-election against a formidable opponent. No, she will be self-imposing a low profile. If Democrats were serious, they would remove her from her position immediately, and conduct a full investigation. It's naive to think that this is the end, there will undoubtedly be more enlightening emails forthcoming. Funny how even the mention of collusion between the DNC and HRC camp was met with calls of sour grapes, no proof, etc....now there's proof and Dems here on this site are frantically trying to minimize it by implying that it's no big deal. Would it have been a big deal to Hillary supporters had the party decided HRC had too much baggage and that O'Malley was their guy, then actively worked to undermine the HRC campaign on his behalf? Who picks our candidates anyway, the voters or just the party?

They are real, the collusion is real, and the harm done to Democracy is real. Keying on who released the info as being more important than the emails themselves is complete and utter nonsense.

You're not looking at the big picture. Putin wants Trump. Putin has the DNC hacked. Putin then releases the hacked information to Wikileaks, RIGHT before our convention.

It doesn't take a genius to connect the dots and see what the hell is going on.

Replacing DWS as convention chair is just a beginning. It's the public show of reaction that will help keep the story out of Tuesday's news.

What's going to take a lot longer is the deep solution that carves that sort of thinking out of those seeking senior roles in the DNC

It looked like a lot of the worst stuff was coming from that office.

Here’s the relevant email:

From: MARSHALL@dnc.org
To: MirandaL@dnc.org, PaustenbachM@dnc.org, DaceyA@dnc.org
Date: 2016-05-05 03:31
Subject: No shit
It might may no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief. Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.
The message was sent to DNC communications director Luis Miranda, CEO Amy Dacey, and deputy communications director Mark Paustenbach. Dacey responded to the email with a one-word reply: “AMEN.”

http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/07/22/email_indicates_dnc_wanted_bernie_sanders_asked_about_god.html

If we want a clean break, there's more housecleaning to do than jettisoning DWS.
