The shooting spree in the shopping mall. It's quite bad (9 dead) and the killer is still on the loose. It probably wasn't appropriate.

I think she was leaning towards Tim Kaine but recent events and pushback from liberal progressives will likely Move her toward Tom Vilsack or Tom Perez.
At the end of the day all we can do is trust her choice and hope for the best.

But if it's Kaine, I'm still 100% onboard. Especially after that fantastic speech!

I would prefer Becerra, Brown, Booker, Warren, or Perez over Kaine. I prefer Kaine over Vilsack. How lucky we are, having so many good choices. Trump scraping the bottom of the barrel desperate to find his VP, and Hillary has an embarrassment of riches from which to choose.

auntpurl

61. Not sure.
Fri Jul 22, 2016, 06:43 PM
Jul 2016

I suppose it depends on whether we're more likely to pick off voters on the far left or the middle. And how influenced those people are by the VP pick. The extreme left who refuse to vote for Hillary won't do so no matter who she picks, but there may be waverers on the left who want to see a sign from Hillary that she's going to continue in a progressive direction. A Warren/Brown/Becerra pick would make those people feel more confident. If you're picking them off from the middle, then Kaine is absolutely the right choice.

I think Hillary has a fantastic team who is privy to more information than we are, and I am sure they are considering all of the above and a hell of a lot more when making this decision. I trust them and her to make the right choice.
