Trump Hopes to Purge Civil Service of Liberals, Allow CEOs to Serve in Government Part-Time

ut, as with so many other aspects of Trump's appeal, the idea that his wealth will insulate his administration from the temptations of cronyism is a transparent con. Many populist politicians are opposed to the revolving door between the public and private sectors, which threatens the independence of regulators. And Trump is no exception — except, instead of locking the revolving door, he'd like to take a sledge hammer to it.

In a new audio recording obtained by Reuters, Chris Christie tells dozens of Republican donors that Trump plans to "let businesspeople serve in government part time without having to give up their jobs in the private sector." In Trump's America, progressives won't have to worry about former banking executives regulating their old colleagues — active CEOs will be doing that for their current ones.

In the recording, Christie also says Trump hopes to purge the civil service of Obama appointees.

"One of the things I have suggested to Donald is that we have to immediately ask the Republican Congress to change the civil service laws. Because if they do, it will make it a lot easier to fire those people," Christie says.

And as AgnosticSherbert says, the marriage of government and business IS classic fascism.

Mussolini dissolved Italy's parliament and replaced it with a council of business leaders.

Institution in America, many can't see it they think it will hurt liberals if it effect one it affects all. They still can't see the damage done by Bush/Cheney They are upset about skin color. They can't wait to put more people in poverty.

Those who want him think if he puts his foot on peoples neck they will give up and go get those non existent jobs he won't or can't create. They think people love catching hell many don't give a damn and feel they have nothing to lose.

Trump knows nothing of the Constitution or established law, and he cares less. He lashes out at any people or group that criticize him and he has a notoriously thin skin. He's already coming perilously close to saying he will send all unauthorized immigrants to internment camps to await deportation. And Muslim Americans are all too likely to be purged, one way or another, as the final solution to "Islamic Terrorism."

And yes, I absolutely mean that he's planning to keep running his business and presidentin' part time while the Vice Theocrat runs the country with help from his billionaire buddies.

I don't believe this nation could survive a Trump presidency.

Interesting thing, once you take a Government Job you automatically must conform to the Hatch Act. Zero Political participation. You can vote and give small contributions but do not get caught organizing or on someone's campaign committee.
