I was yelling at the TV!
I was brave to turn on the convention for about 5 minutes and what do I hear? Mitch, giving a speech at the convention saying, 'the awful Democrats would not pass the Zika Bill.'
What!!! WTF!!
He neglected to mention all the poison pieces of legislation added to the Zika Bill, by repubs. The bill was so bad! the Dems could not in a million years pass that crappy legislation. I am so fed-up with the games.
We all needed that Zika Bill, and the repubs ruined it by filling it with crappy outrageous stuff and here is Mitch saying to the world that it was because of the Democrats.
Congress needs to pass a law that Bills like this, need to stand alone and not have other stuff dumped into it. It is a horrible game they play and no-one wins. We all lose.
So now, very few people would know that that bill was poison is the reason why it did not pass. It was not the Dems fault. It was the repubs! I had to write about it and set it straight, at least here on DU. Thanks for reading.
