The RNC was hilarious tonight!

Not a single speech had any substance. One of the speakers even stole Obama's line from 2004 and Tom Cotton stole Kerry's "Help is on the Way!" motto. This election should be a Democratic slam dunk.

Editing to add : I forgot about how at the beginning they exploited the grieving Benghazi Mom which was just evil. Not funny at all.

1. Hilarious.

Even the "Benghazi Bros" were hilarious, if one could forget that they were exploiting the deaths of others for cheap political savagery.

The dozen inadvertent (I hope) references to Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of the Will before an uncomprehending crowd was darkly funny, too.

And the squeakingly incoherent "Invade Canada" speech from VP dangle General Michael Flynn was an amazing summation of nonsense.

Then at the end, when the septuagenarian racists had trundled off to their luxury hotels, leaving an unenthused crowd playing Pokemon and trying to hook up, that bounded on the absurd.

The one guy chanting USA! and clapping while the speakers kept prodding them to "get fired up!" pretty much summed it all up. A complete disaster for a group that could not be more deserving.

Should be a raging inferno by daylight.
