In nearly 30 years of following politics, I never witnessed so much as a sneeze at a Republican convention.

Looks like the delegates who don't support Trump aren't willing to "get over it" as the RNC chair told them to do this morning.

Could they go the way of the Whigs? We are moving into a bizarre stretch of history to be sure. When one of the current big two nominates a reality show bozo all bets are off.

But tens of millions will vote for this orange clown, which pretty much proves they would vote for an eggplant if it got nominated.

Thanks Faux News and Rush.

17. Anti-Trumpers asked for roll-call vote on Rules Committee report.

Chairman refused, said a voice vote was enough. Someone made a point of order asking for a roll-call vote, and the chairman refused that. Apparently, the anti-Trumpers wanted the Rules to contain a measure that would allow delegates to "free" their votes on the convention floor.

N.B. I'm not an expert, I'm just watching C-Span.
