Michigan Sen.Debbie Stabenow keeps seat

Michigan Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D) has beaten back Republican challenger Pete Hoekstra.

Republicans targeted Stabenow early in the cycle but failed to mount a strong challenge in the Wolverine State. Hoekstra’s first campaign ad was met with charges of racial insensitivity, an apparent blow to the former congressman’s campaign. He struggled to compete in fundraising and never caught up to Stabenow in polls.

Pete Hoekstra needs to take the hint and retire, somewhere, anywhere as long as it is far far away from Michigan.

Hope he'll just go away! Or maybe wind up on Pox...

Btw - view over Chris Jansing's shoulder in the wrongney ballroom - that crowd behind her is awfully quiet.

I've followed her career since she was on the city council in Lansing 29 years ago.

It was never a real race, Hoekstra was polling at something like 36% two weeks ago. And he is an enormous ass. Bye bye, Petey boy.
