(3,335 posts)4 game suspension for "Deflategate". He's not even very good at public speaking but I guess he's got the bravado that Trumps looking for in himself and in a speaker. Can't imagine what he'd speak about. The few times I heard him speak, he came across as the classic airhead with the Trophy wife. Hmmmm now who does that remind me of? Like Trump, it's all about 'WINNING' and 'Character' doesn't seem to matter.

(81,298 posts)I'm NOT a football fan. These football players are interchangeable to me - no idea who most of them are or why they get paid more than our teachers and scientific researchers do.
But if I'm not mistaken, Tim Tebow is the dude who tries to shove his religion into everything on a VERY public scale, and Tom Brady? Isn't he the guy who cheats at football and married Gisele Bundchen. Hope he doesn't cheat on her, too...
I know more about Gisele Bundchen than I do about Tom Brady. And I find her way more interesting and impressive than he is. I did see him at a press conference where he was a complete zero. Had one sentence he repeated again and again (probably at the advice of his lawyer). He has a very strangely-shaped head. Square and very angular, kinda like Frankenstein. He doesn't seem very bright - OR to have much of a personality.
But hell, it's football. What I know about football could fit on the head of a pin.

(41,984 posts)Everybody from open carry advocates to BLM to a photographer who specializes in mass nudes and has been searching for 100 women to take it off and pose (they're very cool, not sexualized at all if you haven't seen them) for his work will be there.
I'm nervous as hell about all of them but man, what a happening.
