Sherrod Brown is the best bet

-The presidency is more important than a Senate seat.

-Since bills originate in the House the GOPU can stymie us as long as we don't control it

-He has blue collar cred

-OH is on a knife's edge. It wouldn't take much to put it firmly in the Democratic column. This isn't a Hail Mary pass like thinking Lloyd Bentsen or John Edwards could turn their state blue especially when the latter would have never won re-election in his homestate.

If he could make the difference in Ohio, well.... it would spell the end for Trump.

The Democrats can win the presidential election without Ohio now, but the Republicans really cannot.

important. Just don't see it. In fact, my guess is Brown was never a serious consideration because we can't lose his Senate seat.

Nor one where the governor is a Republican. Do you hear me Warren for VEEP cheerleaders? A state which can elect a GOP governor, is not a state that one wants to remove a sitting Democratic senator.

No to Warren, and hell no to Brown for VEEP.

We need these people in the senate.

Because it takes 50 senators to confirm a Supreme Court nominee. Not 49.

A GOP governor appoints their replacement. However in Warren's case there is a special election to replace her in 90 days.

I like Tom Perez , a lot, and would be happy with him. I know he has administrative ability but does he have political ability? Politics is a blood sport.

I'm beginning to think you never bought a used car. If any Dem comes across inauthentic and superficial, it's Booker.
