Video Disproves Ayotte’s Claim That She Wasn’t Aware Of The “Trump-Style” For-Profit University’s Predatory Tactics Until Last Week
CONCORD – A new WMUR report tore down Kelly Ayotte’s story about her growing Bridgepoint Education scandal.
Last week, the Huffington Post reported that Kelly Ayotte accepted thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the PAC of a shady for-profit university, Bridgepoint Education, that targets veterans, single parents and the elderly. When confronted about Bridgepoint’s deceptive and predatory practices, Ayotte’s campaign told WMUR that she was unaware until last week of any controversy regarding the company.
However, a new report from WMUR shows video of Ayotte presiding over the Senate floor in 2015 when Senator Durbin (D-IL) discussed Bridgepoint Education’s history of targeting veterans — directly contradicting Ayotte’s earlier claims. ................................
