Why doesn't the MSM investigate and report on Donald Trump's Corruption?

Donald Trump is one of the most corrupt businessmen in America. He makes his money by flim flam schemes. How can anyone tolerate his corrupt businesses? There should be investigative stories everyday explaining just how corrupt Donald Trump is.

I believe the media was still calling McCain maverick until after the convention and then brought out the truth about him. Romney as well. Why would be news bring out big stories before nomination?

I'd like to think also that there is a media reasoning for making this a horse race.

It serves the Dems not to get too complacent and GOTV

This may be cynical but the media seemingly profit more from an exciting horse race
and an impassioned and tuned-in audience. Their bonuses depend on it.

I would love so much to see some fearless amazing journalism.

It's on to the next story.
Fortunately, there will be more Trump filth stories that will come out.
But, keep in mind that the very LAST thing that any media outlet wants is a blowout.

Every four years, it's the same cry from them.
This is going to be an extremely close election. So, keep watching our commercials.

Look at the 6 companys who own all of the MSM and you will find the answer. Trump really could kill someone and the MSM would look the other way. But a Democratic candidate so much as coughs and the MSM will question if the are well enough to serve 4 years in office.

What gets me is how they're treating trump as some kind of normal candidate. The man is aiming to be a dictator. He's rotten to the core.

way back in the 80's, decades prior to his reality sojourn. Many major American politicians and entertainers have helped to legitimize him in spite of the warnings from minority activists, NBC gave him a TV show to really assist.

His rise is not recent, not built on 'reality TV' and all America was warned about him, they just paid no attention whatsoever.

Obviously, he's always made himself a controversial figure, but he was mostly a New York phenom before The Apprentice.

However, his passage from entertainment/real-estate mogul to credible presidential candidate can be laid at the feet of a complicit media.

From the day of his declaration, his shady, tawdry business and personal baggage should have been daily frontpage news, 24/7.

But, the ratings were too good for corporate MSM to allow that. They have admitted as much.

This is not history, simplistic or otherwise. It's sadly all too current. I repeat:

The "normalization" of a sleazy reality TV star as a credible presidential candidate is the

most shameful exhibit of "toady journalism" that I can recall witnessing in my lifetime.

During Convention season they want to prop up ratings with Veep-stakes and drama. They have invested a lot of money in positioning assets (satellite uplinks, etc.) in the two cities and building studios / sky boxes, etc.

Later in the summer, they will probably arrive at the conclusion that turning tRump's slow motion train wreck into a fiery crash and making a spectacle out of it might be best for ratings.

But Democrats cannot afford to be complacent, especially with so many opportunities in the Senate, House, and state Legislatures.
