Tim Kaine in Spanish interview. Starts in English. IMPRESSIVE. This guy is SMART and READY!

(Other parts of the interview are also in English. They go back and forth. )

It's about competence, not "excitement." It's not a beauty contest. Tim Kaine is a very accomplished Harvard grad having served at every level of government. He is ready. He helps bring purple Virginia. And he has won many elections, so I guess he was "exciting" enough to do that.

We have Tom Perez who is also accomplished and Xavier Becerra, both of whom can strike at Trump's greatest flaw, has insult of Latinos.

We have Liza warren who is more than ready as she already commands nation recognition.

We have Cory Booker who could gut Chris Christie.

And last, but FAR from least, Brown can help bring Ohio.

I am pretty confident in Clinton choosing a good running mate. I do not hold a strong position on a VP pick.

as the VP pick. I think he can help with closing the non-college educated white male demographic. The fluent Spanish is an absolute plus for Spanish language tv interviews. He's won several elections for a reason.

One downside: the gifts revelation.

Edited to add: That was a very impressive interview. His Spanish is fabulous!
