When will/should Hillary announce her VP pick?

It is widely believed that Hillary will wait to announce her VP nominee until after Trump announces his VP choice. With the Repub convention scheduled for next Monday - Thursday, it seems like Trump will announce his selection this week. When will/should Hillary make her announcement considering that the Dem convention is exactly one week after the Repub convention.

Should she announce the day after Trump announces? Should she wait until next Friday or the weekend after the Repub convention? Should she announce her pick during the Repub convention? Are there any other options?

Sounds like next Friday (after his acceptance speech the night before) would be ideal for that. LonePirate Jul 2016 #20

I doubt Hillary would do that during the Repugs convention. That's never done before and would not be looked at positively at all.

There needs to be some drama to attract viewers to the coverage. Obviously, she'll be the nominee. We need something to wait for during the convention.

That will step on any positive press they may get coming out of their convention and set the media narrative for the weekend.

Dems need a moment or two to gather intel

Our VP pick should have nothing to do with Trump's VP pick, but it certainly should be timed to re-direct the conversation and the energy and excitement that comes with realizing a magnificent team that will be leading the nation.

So after the Rep Convention for sure.

That Friday. They can barnstorm together for three days before the convention starts, when the news cycles will be void of convention news, and probably be a big item on the Sunday news shows.
