I didn't realize that it would be televised, and it's been quite an education.
We all owe our thanks to the grass roots/regular people who actually get the hard work done.

Will the Republicans be televised as well, or did I miss it?

That would have been a shit show worth watching.

Now the Hightower Amendment and he's going on about the TPP.
I like the sound of that.

The sound was doing strange things during the amendment discussion ("unity" amendment?). It got contentious, but I wasn't getting good sound again until after they came back from the brief break. What was the amendment that caused all the hollering?

inserted Hillary Clinton's name into the platform and called her the nominee, while acknowledging Sanders and his movement. That apparently caused a disruption of sorts.

There were a couple of people who looked like they were fixing to duke it out. Kind of amazing at this point.

There are probably going to be some boos and jeers during Hillary's speech and that's pretty sad.

Saw a few real loud hipster looking white guy's getting agitated. Which just reinforces my opinion of the Bernie or bust team. Even if Bernie endorses Hillary his nutty supporters are going to be a problem at the convention.

Not that it matters. Hillary is going to win in a landslide. But seeing young, plaid shirt, hipster, bearded white guys throwing a fit in a room full of people that truly represents this country was telling. Even now they cannot admit they have lost.

And I am a Southern, middle class, middle aged fat white guy.

Bernies young white male supporters are the 2030's yuppies. Count on it.
