He cleared her criminally, while smearing her politically, enabling the GOP to blather on and hold hearing, appoint special prosecutors, etc, for the next 4-8 years.

Ryan and the rest of the GOOPers are just punting and hoping for some miracle to occur. Comey's too smart for that, despite his right-wing bias.

calling for the FBI to testify--under oath. Remember that conversation. About lying under oath. Comey said no. Yet, Cheffrey said we will getting one in 2 hours. I am confused about that conversation

I'm sorry, there's no way to put lipstick on the e-mail pig. Anyone who works with confidential information is quite certain that they would be fired if they conducted business on their private accounts. It was an error in judgement and I believe that Hillary has admitted that (at least I hope she has) and apologized. Had Comey come out and said everything was fine and dandy and Hillary did nothing questionable he would have come off as biased or stupid. Instead by questioning her judgment he preserved his integrity. Oh but he handed the Republicans an issue on a silver platter. So what? They are too dumb to take it. They just want the silver platter, they want the golden pitcher and crystal goblets and the diamond crusted plates. In other words they want an indictment damn it, and in pushing for it they are making fools of themeselves as they always seem to do when it comes to the Clintons.

I'd like to see them call her before them and have her answer them on national television. I'd like to let America see the tough, smart Hillary Clinton that I can admire make fools of them.

They don't want to sit close to him because people will notice they are all just like him. What a bunch of idiots, wasting my money. Why didn't they go after Bush and Chaney?????

On edit apparently it was Congressman Pointyhair, Gowdy, talking. NBC's camera seems locked on Comey.

That trumps facts, of course. They "just know" she lied.

We had had gov't employees killed before under GOP presidents but they didn't think it was a big thing.

We had GOP using email the wrong way before but nothing was done about it.

What is interesting in both instances is congress wanted to hold hearings and try to smear Clinton, but far as I can see congress has no plans to pass any legislation with teeth to make embassy employees safer or to put penalties in for improper use of email.

I think they would have more credibility if they actually ACTED.

Based on the leading question just now about termination of employment, revoking clearance, etc. They're headed toward HRC being disqualified to run for/be POTUS

They simply move on to what "It was all about anyway."

The inconsistency and desperation are laughable.

They are going to fish through her sworn testimony for one of the old "It's not about the issue, it's the fact that she lied under oath about it!!"

Seen it all before.

It's astounding to hear speeches disguised as questions. Both sides, too. And thank GOD the Democrats are using it to excoriate the GOP and The Donald.
