I honestly haven't been this excited and sure about our nominee since 1992. (Original Post) onehandle Jul 2016 OP
Interesting, I haven't felt so ambivalent about a Dem nominee since '92. bklyncowgirl Jul 2016 #1

Maybe it's a Clinton thing. I was a Jerry Brown supporter and the way Bill Clinton beat "my guy" stuck in my craw.

As far as the top of the ticket is concerned.

Yea, I hope Clinton beats Trump but I highly dislike Ms. Clinton. And Trump is even worse. So, yea, zero excitement.

I was also extremely happy in 2008 and very happy in 1992.

But this year is different.

She might not have President Obama's pure charm and coolness, and she may not have Bill's gift for speaking, but she is such an extremely smart, funny, tough, knowledgeable and genuine soul.

I know she will impress the unenthused, once she's in office.

It feels great to be a Democrat. We just keep getting better and better.
