Yes, people like Sheldon Adelson and the Koch brothers really want to have a President as their personal valet. So let’s, for the sake of mathematical simplicity, say that these 158 families (usually dominated by one person) represent about 300 people. These 300 hundred people represent about 0.0001% of the US population."

will turn up plenty just to begin with. I suggest as an easy beginning reading some articles by Jane Mayer, who has studied 40 years of the activities of the most determined but especially the Kochs.

Note that when Democrat Obama was inaugurated, over 700 billionaires and megamillionaires met in a new "first" meeting (of what had been a much smaller, but long-organized and extremely powerful group) led by Charles Koch to plan how to defeat all attempts at stopping their accumulation of power and profits.

I'm really bad at remembering names, so I just tend to think of them all as Kochs et ilk, but the Kochs do stand out as the worst of every category even in that group.
