2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy is any good news about Hillary followed by a "but" here?
Is that a rule? She is our presumptive nominee for President. Good news is good, I'd think, period. Maybe I'm missing something?

(15,438 posts)-her-face on at the same time as Hugh Hewitt and Giuliani (on phone) with Ed Rendell, ONE Dem (stuck in some greenroom) who barely got to say anything. CNN was worse! They had Darrell "Car Thief" Issa.
Every
Democrat should write the Skewed-news outlets and tell them that they're shilling for the Republican Party.

(52,317 posts)democrats want the whole unvarnished truth, the cloud with every silver lining and vice versa.
republicans are the ones who only see things in black and white, or good and evil.

(2,493 posts)Anyone that thinks it was is blind to reality. The FBI determined that Hillary didn't commit a crime using a private server but that she was reckless and that she previously lied about the content of emails that crossed those servers. I know a lot of apologists will attack the messenger but that is simply the facts. Don't believe me just look at the website of the WaPo, which has been a huge Hillary backer. Here are some of the story headlines:
"How the FBI director systematically dismantled Hillary Clintons email defense" - https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/how-the-fbi-director-systematically-dismantled-hillary-clintons-email-defense/2016/07/05/55c444ba-42da-11e6-8856-f26de2537a9d_story.html?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_clintonstatements705p%3Ahomepage%2Fstory
"Even without charges, FBI rebuke leaves a heavy political cloud over Clinton" - https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/even-without-charges-fbi-rebuke-leaves-a-heavy-political-cloud-over-clinton/2016/07/05/79b6f712-42c8-11e6-bc99-7d269f8719b1_story.html?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_clintonemails-510pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory
"Hillary Clintons email problems might be even worse than we thought" - https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/07/05/hillary-clintons-email-problems-might-be-even-worse-than-we-thought/?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_fix-clinton-1245pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory
And from the editorial board - "Clinton was extremely careless. That is not a crime, but she must do better in the future." - https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/clinton-was-extremely-careless-that-is-not-a-crime-but-she-must-do-better-in-the-future/2016/07/05/d85ba064-42d8-11e6-8856-f26de2537a9d_story.html?hpid=hp_no-name_opinion-card-d%3Ahomepage%2Fstory

(4,640 posts)Because she wasn't their choice, so of course they have to do the "but" thing. Whatever trips their triggers I suppose.
It was GOOD news today.
