Vice President Joe Biden recently told an NPR interviewer that he has spoken with Senator Bernie Sanders about him endorsing the presumptive Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton.Sen. Sanders has been campaigning persistently for the Democratic presidential nomination since last summer, and so far has seemed adamant about continuing his campaign up to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia later this month.
But according to NPR, V.P. Biden has already spoken with Sanders, and is confident that Sanders will endorse Clinton.

Most BS supporters are already backing Hillary, and those who are refusing to do so won't be moved by Bernie's endorsement - in fact, many of the BoBers are ready to throw Bernie himself under the bus if he does endorse.
Either way, HRC will be the next POTUS - and Bernie's approval is irrelevant.

(4,640 posts)I do believe an endorsement from him is meaningless. He's let it go for too long. The only possible reason I can see for it happening before convention is to get a speaking slot before the vote. Particularly as with the endorsement would come a concession.
That's just my opinion, of course.
