The Republican Party is intellectually, morally and ethically bankrupt.

That anyone is seriously considering Newt Gingrich or Pat Buchanan as possible VP candidates is more than adequate information to draw that conclusion. Hell, that the party will nominate Mr. Bankruptcy Trump as President is more than enough evidence of that fact.

Let's get on with electing Hillary Clinton as the next President, shall we? The Republicans have bubkes. It'll be a walk-into-the-landslide cinch!

What's so funny about the Republican primary race is that they started with 17 potential candidates and ended up with Donald Trump of all people. What does that say about the rest of the field? It's amazing.

And Newt Gingrich? I thought he was dead, for pete's sake.

and chose Donald Trump. As they say here in Minnesota, Uff da! He's apparently the best they can come up with. Done. The Republican Party is done.

It's true that Nixon was a crook, even though he claimed he wasn't, but Trump has a long history of defrauding people in may ways, failing to pay debts, suing people to avoid paying debts, filing business bankruptcy to avoid paying debts, and being an all-purpose scam artist. Even Nixon wasn't as morally bankrupt as Trump. And I don't think he ever cheated on Pat, not that women particularly craved him (but who'd want Trump? Ew.).

Not to say a lot won't vote for him thinking we're still the worse choice, but others aren't so sure.

Maybe coax along the idea of not voting at all in the minds of conservatives we know? I'm trying, very reservedly. For those who can't vote Democrat, imo it's the only moral remaining choice.

except I do not take ANYTHING for granted about a landslide!

Nor should anyone else - and I am sure that is what you meant when you said "let's get along with electing Hillary Clinton as the next President."

as a general principle, with exceptions for the few that weren't. They haven't changed at all during that time. They still hate lefties, still take gifts, still hate the poor, still hate minorities, still hate the American people who are not exactly like them.
