Could it be any better than this?

1. We have the most awesome, qualified canidate;

2. Republicans have the weakest, most over the top scam artist;

3. We are united in our resolve;

4. We are poised to go 6 - 3 on the Supreme Court and maybe even 7 - 2, restoring sanity and marginalized "conservatives;"

5. The radical right has hobbled the "conservative" movement which dwindles as we speak.

Awesome! Good stuff to come.

My vote is Anita Hill but I could see why that might not be the best pick.

Edit: The irony would be delicious if she replaced a retiring Thomas.

It'd be neat if a President Hillary Clinton could revisit Goodwin Liu. And maybe nominate him again.

Good thing because our nation desperately needs both a stable, responsible party with good candidates to vote for and the proven successful policies that ours actually offers.

I expect some anxious times ahead anyway. Political scientists say people are usually remarkably constant in their voting patterns, so in the end a lot of polls are likely to be close enough to hyperventilate over even if Trump finishes the campaign in a Bozo the Clown suit and promises to nuke all the Muslims in France. Also, Obama's approval rating next fall, whether we have a terrorist attack or global stock market slump in October, can all upend expectations.

Coattails that will give us:

6. Majority in the House

7. Majority in the Senate

They may be remote right now, but as this campaign progresses (for Clinton, for Trump it's regressing) they will become more and more possible.

they are tied in Ohio and she is only 1 point ahead in PA. That looks good on the surface but Trump isn't spending any money.
What happens when he starts running ads in the battleground states? Like I said I wouldn't be doing any victory lap just yet.

That's game over for Trump.

BTW, any word on whether Quinnipiac is still comically oversampling whites in their polls? Do they still think that for the first time in history a presidential election will have fewer minority voters than the previous one, even though the minority population has increased?

but watch out...the media is already salivating over Trump firing his campaign manager. They are using this to state that DonCon has turned the corner and that we will see a new candidate. NEVER trust the media. They need this to be close and will do anything to get it close.

We have work to do, and we are going to get it done in spades. Seeing more and more people on my Facebook page, who have always in the past been Republican to the bone, and even they are posting anti-Trump stuff. This is going down and it will be glorious. We have competitive races down ballot and they are really good candidates. Support your local and state races and give what you can in time or money. This will be our year!

Certainly it is important to keep Drumpf out if the White House and away from the nuclear codes.

We can see how liberal Hillary might skew but more importantly it may get way better if we pay more attention to state, county, and local politics. Right now the right has a stranglehold on the US House and a majority of other state offices.
