Trump just utterly collapsed in Florida, at least according to this new Q Poll

<snip>

A new set of Quinnipiac University polls released Tuesday showed the former secretary of state expanding her lead over Trump in Florida, garnering 47% support to his 39% support among self-identified registered voters surveyed last week.

That's a notably larger lead than a similar Quinnipiac survey taken last month that showed Clinton with a 1-point lead over the real estate magnate.

But Tuesday's polls also found a much tighter race in Ohio and Pennsylvania. According to the Quinnipiac surveys, Clinton and Trump remain tied in Pennsylvania, while Clinton leads Trump by a single point in Ohio.

We will pick up that seat even if Little Marco decides to run after saying a thousand times he wouldn't. I hate to use monikers Trump has assigned to his opponents but that weasel deserves it after endorsing his tormentor.

I think we can count (almost) on picking up Florida and Wisconsin as well. Johnson is backing away from Trump like a man with a bee sting allergy backs away from a hive.

4. We have to be really careful not to get to confident.

We have all seen what happens when Democrats think "it is in the bag", they stay home on election day. The lines were too long, we were going to win anyway thinking.

It is VITAL that we stay alert, stay active and make sure all of our sane friends and neighbors get to the polls on election day. Staying home is not an option, even if the polls show Trumper down by 20!

8. I agree, we have some really good Democrats running for State House and Senate here in Oklahoma.

We need a BIG turnout to run these bums out of office! Lots of teachers running in places we might have a chance of winning so I'm scared that people will become complacent. I have to say it is fun to watch them implode though.

7. it's very unlikely that Clinton is ahead by 8 in FL but only 1 in PA

Unless the older Cubanos in Florida turned on Donnie Deadbeat too

if I had to guess, I'd say Clinton's lead in OH and PA is bigger than shown here.

Unless we can win back the state houses it will all be temporary. Under our system, over the long term that is where the real power rests.

Sometimes, living in Vermont, a state where both houses have supermajorities of dems, I forget that in most states it's the other way around.

But I think it may begin to change this fall. We will gain a lot of seats in the Florida senate.

13. Orlando backlash?

The statement he made afterwards was horrible and stupid; "if those victims were armed". That is like blaming the victims for their own deaths. The massacre coverage has been non-stop in Florida. People here would have had to be living under a rock to have not heard Trump's comments on Orlando.

Not to get OT, but the majority of rational people, gun owners or not, know that alcohol and guns don't mix any more than alcohol and cars do.

14. Trump is getting demolished on two fronts

1. He is leaking votes. Donald is damaging his own reputation with the schoolyard insults, and continuing even after being called out, and is consequently losing voters, supporters and endorsers from every angle. I recall there was a time no Republican would admit they would not vote for the Republican nominee. But there are many vocal and high ranking Republicans that are doing just that. It's almost like they have given permission for the rank and file to admit the same. Trump's little hands can no longer hold back the torrent leaking from crack in that dam.

2. She is gaining votes. With Hillary's nomination about to be formally announced, a majority of the people have decided she is the Dem Nominee and have moved on and thrown in their support to her campaign. Including many, many Bernie supporters. Polls will reflect that bump due in part to that demographic.
