(99,711 posts)My uncle, god bless his memory, lived in Century Village, right smack in the middle of DWS' district. Hillary won it 70-30. It is heavily Jewish, Hispanic, and African American. It was made to order for her.

This is how any Democrat wins a state wide race in FL; roll up huge margins in South Florida*, be competitive in Central Florida, and mitigate his or her losses in North Florida.
If it was a high turnout general election Rick Scott never beats Charlie Crist.
I will go on to predict Patrick Murphy picks up Marco Rubio's Senate seat, whether Rubio runs or not.
* where DWS's district is.

(4,234 posts)in FL, one of the most corrupt states in the country, where the voting machines are definitely not reflective of the real sentiment of the people or their actual votes, I don't give him good odds to win. If Tim can get an accurate vote count, one that pretty much agrees with the unadjusted exit polls, he will win, I believe.
But that's a big BUT, a very very big BUT.
