Obama won women voters 55-43 in 2008; a 25 point win would've caused one of the largest landslides

If all else was equal and Obama in 2008 had won women voters by a 25 point margin (as a recent poll suggests margin is today), this would have added about 8 million votes to his approximately 10 million vote margin.

His vote total would've been near 60% with the Republican at less than 40%. That's Nixon-McGovern or Reagan-Mondale level of victory.

My point isn't that this is going to happen. But women comprise a majority of voters. Alienate or target them and it has a big effect when they start voting one way or another.

He will have to select a mouth-breathing conservative like Haley Barbour.
