Litmus test... Does leadership issues matter in GE race and discussion about them here in DU

We have this http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/clinton-donor-sensitive-intelligence-board/story?id=39710624

Does this pay to play issue matter?

Should we be able to discuss how this will impact the nominee in GE, since it will clearly lead to pointed ads as it concerns leadership

Discussions already have and will continue to occur surrounding the impact of the Clinton Foundation, how much more will that distract from issues and policies that a nominee should be focusing on? Shouldn't a nominee and family divest themselves completely of ventures that create these debacles?

DO you consider this an issue or no? what say you?

in terms of GE and general public perception, HRC's historic unfavorables would go up or down with this issue?

does leadership choices matter and how they will be framed in GE, ads have impact so if used in ad how would this play... how would you counter it?

wouldn't it be easier for entire Clinton family divest themselves completely to remove doubt moving forward?

does that appointment not concern you at all? this issue has been brought up here in DU before now there's proof to that contention

Neither Clinton nor Trump have room for their favorability ratings to get much worse. They are each down there with Congress as a whole. They are each pretty much limited to their respective bases. The majority of even those voting for Clinton don't really like or trust her.

It isn't as horrible as is being made out to be.
The guy was not some dumbass that had no business being on the board, and when people started asking questions, he resigned. Looks like he lasted 6 months.

This will be another one of those one-week stories.

what within the article leads you to believe that people don't read the entire article?

what replies support your statement?

to your point here 'The guy was not some dumbass that had no business being on the board, and when people started asking questions' what qualifications did he have going into being placed upon that board, how did pay to play factor into that appointment?

'This will be another one of those one-week stories', shouldn't we as DEMs be above the 'let's run the clock out' tactic?

This speaks to two main aspects, leadership and pay to play, both of which you didn't reply to, the GE will def. pay attention to this, why won't you?

should the Clintons divest themselves from the Foundation to clear issues like this moving forward?
