A lot of important people said a lot of nice things about Bernie yesterday.

I don't have time to find transcripts and quotes, but they are out there. The ones I remember are

Obama
Biden
Hillary
Schumer
Warren
Reid
Franken
The press

All complimentary and many giving Bernie a lot of credit for being the "leader of a movement" and important on the campaign trail for Hillary. Maddow or Hayes said that Bernie was part of a "murderers row" for the Democratic Party.

Murderers' Row was the nickname given to the New York Yankees baseball team of the late 1920s, widely considered one of the best teams in history.

You known, I believe they are right.

Whether he can deliver his farthest fringey supporters who have spent a year convincing themselves and opining to others that HRC is to the right of Cheney and more evilly Machiavellian than Moriarty is debateable, but the party will need his energizing outreach to new less traditionally loyal demographics, and they also need to, and one hopes will, integrate some of the ideas that drove his enthusiastic appeal.

Bernie ran a great campaign and did much better than I though he would. Bernie had a positive impact on the political climate this primary season.

As far as I am concerned, none of these people go under the bus. Bernie specifically said the president and vice president have been fair and gracious throughout. I take him at his word, especially since he has not been shy about calling out those he believes have not been fair.
