Hank the cat pounces for a Virginia senate seat (BBC)

A cat is running for office in the US state of Virginia, in a mock campaign.

Nine-year-old kitty, Hank, is having his campaign managed by his owner - and the tongue-in-cheek run for office has been gathering pace online.

The BBC's Jack Lamport reports.
