Romney Campaign Apparently Confident They'll Win Florida

http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2012/11/romney_campaign_apparently_con.php

"Florida's baked," a top Romney advisor tells Toby Harden of The Daily Mail, meaning the campaign seems pretty confidant they'll prevail.

Sure, Democrats have a small but significant advantage over Republicans in votes already cast through early voting and absentee ballots, but Harden reports that after only Indiana and North Carolina, Romney insiders are the most confidant of winning Florida than all the other swing states. Even more confidant than in Virginia.

This morning on MSNBC, Vice President Joe Biden meanwhile seemed less than confidant of his ticket's chances in Florida. While predicting wins in other swing states, Biden only gave Obama an "even chance" of winning Florida.

We'll find out tomorrow!!!!

FL is not that important this year. It would be nice. VA seems better for Obama but has no early voting.

They haven't campaigned in Indiana at all. Bill Clinton made one stop here about 6 weeks ago.

And I say that from a purely non-partisan point of view. Florida is an electoral Rube Goldberg machine. Even Nate Silver's model can't figure it out.

Well North Carolina is hardly "baked" for Romney. It leans Romney but that is not the same. A strong Obama ground campaign could still win NC for Obama and that is even more true in FL. As for Virginia, that does appear to be "baked" - for Obama.

Just drove to Tampa and back from middle Georgia and Romney signs outnumber Obama at least 100:1. Anti-Obama billboards all the way there and back. Its just horrible what has happened to my state and how big $ rules. What gets me is, I was seeing Romney stickers and 300/month retirement communities! Florida has been nearly ruined by Republicans.

These fundies are ridiculous.

Agree with other Floridans here about the Romney signs as well.

A little more than half the state has a penchant for electing idiots, it seems.
