MSNBC just said Romney will be holding a campaign event on election day in OH

Alex Wagner said it was unprecedented. I can't find a link to any news source reporting this yet. What's the strategy here? The people who haven't voted yet will be at the polls.

That's the day you devote all your resources to getting people TO the polls. you don't want them at a rally.

It's ass backward.

I'm thinking he is planning on shoring up the plan to disenfranchise voters with Husted and company.

Romney's last minute stop helped him pull it out. Just saying that could be. But I tell you Obama is going to win over the electoral college for sure.

The paranoid side of me would have to wonder what asshattery he, Husted and Kasich are up to. I would wonder if their final strategy, aside from intimidating voters, limiting polling places for largely Democratic and minority districts and throwing out provisional ballots - which they're already attempting, would be to tout the "ASTRONOMICAL, UNPRECIDENTED" Republican turnout for the psychological hit it would provide. We know that a large part of Rove's tactics were attempts to deflate and demoralize Democrats. I'll take off my tinfoil hat now.

Will it be another Bush "equal protection" lawsuit?? Will Romney be in Ohio, have it called by FOX news first, then go on the air in Ohio as the winner before the ballots are finished, then sue because he thought he was the winner?? Most people don't know this is how Bush one, by manipulating a law meant to protect the people that Bush and Romney despise.

This is a possibility. He may be there because it's the epicenter of the fraud this year... watch for some drama around Ohio if the President does not clean his clock all over the Country, first. My biggest hope is that the President does NOT need Ohio, and Mitt the Shit can concede from there.

I cannot see how it's a good idea to have your supporters tied up at a rally and not at the polls.

I know how long it took me to get out of the Austin Obama rally this year. Traffic was a bloody nightmare. I realize Romney doesn't have that volume of support, but still. It just seems foolish to tie up supporters time when they should be driving people too the polls to vote for you.

I saw this reported on Fox News.

Romney aids interviewed, who said that it was just one more push. Obama pundit interviewed about it too. Brushed it off.

This just in: Romney schedules Kid Rock concert Wednesday in Ohio; Embarks on a Tour of Denial, across the battleground states.

No credible way that is. If Obama wins OH, Romney would have to flip MI and WI to make up for it. He's also have to take IA, NH and CO too. That's also giving him NC and FL, which is much more likely than Romney winning OH.
