Final Ohio Poll (U of Cincinatti): Obama 50, Romney 48.5

Still too close for comfort given my lack of trust in the GOP-controlled voting apparatus there, but at least we are at 50.

The Senate race is Brown 50.6, Mandel 46.8

1. Looks like Romney picked up 0.5% since their last poll a week ago...

...but, just as importantly, the main change seems to be that the undecideds have almost disappeared -- 1.5% now as opposed to 5% then. And, with Obama at 50%, Rmoney would have to win virtually every undecided out there (and get them to vote) just to tie.

...you'll notice that this poll has around a 1% Republican lean.

2. Cincinatti is a "Red" city

For what it's worth, one of my co-workers grew up in Cincinatti, OH. He told me that Cincinatti is one of the "red" cities in OH. That may be why this poll is a bit tighter than other polls coming out of Ohio. Cincinatti was listed as one of the most "solidly Republican cities in the U.S." by MSN Real Estate.

Not sure what that has to do with the poll or the city
