"My mom and dad were both born and raised in Greece. They came to the United States for a better life. Last year my mother voted for the first time (she was 79) so she could vote for President Obama. Tuesday my Dad (who is 79) is voting for his first time (for President Obama) and my mom also. I am so proud of them. Better late then never!"

I consider myself Greek by adoption. I love these people - genuine, admittedly crotchety, great cooks. They know how to party.
