It may be true, but I find talk of a hurricane bump to be pretty disgusting

Savannah Guthrie this morning said that Hurricane Sandy was seemingly handed to him from above.

I hear a lot of pundits and other people talking about Sandy in purely political terms and I find it disturbing.

Again, it may be true, but lets remember that hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling and many died from this storm. You sound less than human when talking about such a terrible event like this in terms of politcal points

If he just flew over New York and New Jersey and said, "heck of a job Brownie" Mit would be in like Flynn.

dumbya got slammed for his near total lack of empathy after Katrina.. his Yale-y "heckuva job Brownie" further proved he didn't know what the F he was talking about.

Obama's response was much more empathic, there was a sense of urgency and FEMA responded quickly. that's leadership, hence the bump.

...were openly PRAYING that the hurricane would prevent Obama voters in key eastern seaboard states from voting. "God can't affect a person's free will, but He CAN affect the WEATHER." How pathetic was that? Now, it's been blown back around on them (no pun intended) and it's exactly what they deserve.

I have been really disturbed by the way the pundits have talked about a "hurricane bump." Unfortunately, I have seen giddy talk of this on some liberal blogs as well, and have been trying to gently remind people that the storm killed over 60 people, destroyed people's homes, destroyed our transportation system, and left people suffering without power, water or heat.

obama did what we elected him to do. he did his job just like anyone who goes to work everyday BUT his job has just a tad bit more responsibly than ours.

if they want to discuss the politics of sandy maybe they should ask questions about romney`s political rally while people were dead and dieing.

...Obama handles a hurricane. Nothing disgusting about having a responsible president...one that can make us feel more secure. Why wouldn't that make more people want to vote for him. And that too is not disgusting.

Some people just need to find a dark cloud behind every silver lining....

it was over and everyone was forced to decide.

Everything after that has been noise.

Now that its going to be a clear win for the President they have to paint it at being lucky.

Remember he is the 'Luckiest' politician in the world.

Wins every race but it is always because of 'luck'.

A Black man couldn't actually be better than all of them.
