because 60 Minutes didn't make more an effort to make congressional Dems look like heroes?

Please. this segment is more or less irrelevant. has nothing to do with the fact public approval rating of congress is the lowest in polling history. please get a clue.

That is not true. McConnell's avowed goal is to make Obama a one term President. To meet that goal, he is obstructing everything the President proposes. The Senate Democrats are trying to work with the President.

And, the Senate is not the real problem. The House, led by John of Orange, and lousy with teabaggers, is the real culprit. They politicized raising the debt ceiling, putting our country and its credit rating at great risk. Other Congresses have automatically raised the ceiling. They have obstructed important things, like the jobs program. They do nothing but obstruct, endangering the economy and the well being of every one of us.

Who said the Congressional Democrats needed to look like heroes? This was CBS' effort to help turn the Senate just before the election. TPTB would love to see both houses in repubbie hands. Obama would not be able to do anything. They might even try to impeach him. Wouldn't that be great for ratings? And wouldn't it be great for the 1% who own the media, lock, stock and barrel?

That reporter's been hard on President Obama in every interview, yet he let's McConnell slide and doesn't ask him WHY there's been 200+ filibusters, and basically let's it look like they're both equally at fault. And Sen. Reid could stand up for his side more passionately. That would be helpful.
