Oh no, Clinton only leading Trump by 3-6 points in NEW JERSEY!!!

Oh wait, that was Obama vs McCain in 2008.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/nj/new_jersey_mccain_vs_obama-250.html#polls

He squeaked by with a 16 point margin of victory in November.

Superdelegates are not going to disenfranchise millions of Clinton voters over meaningless general election polls in the spring/summer.

These are promoted by the corporate media and are about getting eyes on the screen. Interestingly enough, the loudest and proudest supporters of these polls today are the ones who said corporate polls couldn't be trusted early in the process and went with many extremely flawed Facebook polls. Funny that Facebook is ten times the corporate size of those they originally maligned. Hypocrisy at all turns.

in the closest/most similar polling time frames I could find for comparison. (There doesn't appear to be any NJ polling for May 2008)

Fairleigh Dickinson 6/17 - 6/23 702 RV -- 33 49 Obama +16
Quinnipiac 6/5 - 6/8 1473 LV 2.6 39 45 Obama +6
Rasmussen 6/4 - 6/4 500 LV -- 39 48 Obama +9

The +6 poll is not terribly different than the +4 poll being used to scaremonger today.

He's making the factual argument that supers will make the nominee this year and that happens when they vote at the convention. In this race, this year, a lot could happen between now and the convention, so no reason to give up now.
