(40,416 posts)For one thing RBG would not likely pre-announce her retirement a couple days before a presidential election. That just strains credulity. I do not think it has ever been done that way.
Sure, there have been rumors reported before the fact. But, from the lack of details in your post, I must presume that it is just moonshine.

The only news I can find on Ginsburg is that this week Glamour Magazine named her as Woman of the Year:
